I don't think she taught him being Royal was wrong...just that they could also balance Royal with something normal. The fact (and we know this) William will never be normal. Some Royals can kinda go back to being normal -- but they are the ones that were never center stage for decades like Diana was. Or how William and Harry are now. So I see him 'fighting' her fight while Harry has just come to terms with his not normal life.

i think as Sadie has said, William is intent on fulfilling Diana's desires. He doesn't seem fully formed as an individual so he piggy backs Diana, however, he doesn't seem to have truly thought out Diana except as a victim which is such a dis-service because as many people said, she was he mouse that roared. She was not content to be a passive victim and in the end, despite a short life, triumphed. He doesn't seem to see that.

Yeah… There is a bit of a double standard in terms of sexual conduct isn’t there… some how we still expect woman to conduct themselves differently to men.

I think people are a little more forgiving towards Charles because we know his past; the largely unemotional relationship with his mother, he would love his nannies only for them to leave, the horrible boarding school were he was bullied almost every moment. So with that back ground it’s understandable that Charles would find it very difficult to stay faithful to anyone and why he is so needy and demanding. I’m not saying his upbringing excuses his behavior it’s simply gives us an explanation of sorts.

But by contrast Camilla had a very blessed life and childhood, her parents were happily married, she went to all the best schools and by all account was a happy and lucky girl. So what drove her to do such destruction in her life as well as the lives of her life, her children, Charles children and of course Diana.

Diana towards the end of her life was ALL about being normal. That's partly why she made some of her worst decisions because of her belief she even could be normal again (like getting rid of her RPOs, etc). So I think William's drive to be normal is very much an extension of what he heard his mother want (to put it mildly -- she raged) for at least the last 5 years of her life.

Oh yes! I am sure that played a part in it. Also I think Diana may have indirectly made William feel that the royal way of life was “wrong” and to be normal was in a way to be better than royal.

Hi :) just a quick question: if the time came for William to become King and he did decide to walk, and his eldest son or daughter was still underage, would that mean that Harry would become King until that child was old enough to take on the role and then pass it to that child, or would Harry remain King for the rest of his life, the line of succession then shifting to any children of his? I hope this makes sense, I'm still learning all this 'succession' business, hence this question haha :)

No Because the Abdication document that was made for King Edward stated that the rights of the throne would be taken away not just for him but for his “descendents ” meaning his children would have to claim to it.

So in short if William does Abdicate and they use the same document as they did before it would mean his children have no claim to the throne.

It’s very hard to prove because the only proof we have is the testimony of a reporter who supposedly found Beatrice in a toilet crying at the roller disco. However she did turn up to the event not really dressed for the disco and she was late which backs up the claim of the reporter.

It’s hard to say if Kate would say offensive about the york girls within the social circle Kate was in even though that is how the story goes.

If I was Kate I wouldn’t be so stupid to say insulting things about Bea and Eugenie but then again… Kate isn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the box.

I’m not sure… There was a time were I was convinced that story was true but now that I think about it I’m really not sure.

Hmm…. Well… This is just my own opinion so take it as you will.

But I get the impression Harry did have a problem with Alcohol in his late teens and early 20s largely because he clearly had some emotional problems and was venting via alcohol and drugs.

But in recent times there doesn’t seem to be any cause for concern at all. He is just a lad who likes to get a bit harmed from time to time (I like to get really drunk from time to time.)

Have you listened to that “Tampon” phone call. My god! Camilla spent the whole call kissing his ass! She added herself to the long list to people who just pander to Charles.

I don’t think she is evil by any means…She just selfish.

(2) And yes that was vengeful, but at the same time, in my opinion, it also showed how she didn't put up with bullshit. As for charity work, honestly speaking, I do appreciate the people that volunteer without any incentives, but lets face it, most people volunteer for reasons. Whether it be to make new contacts, make resume better, or mandatory academic volunteering, people rarely do it just because they want too. So I'm not to fazed on Camilla not volunteering until necessary.

Your comment on charity work is fairly true… But Camilla could have done some thing with her life. Maybe she could have kept a closer eye on her son who developed a cocaine habit and had to go to rehab.

(1) In regards to Camilla being a mean person, I don't know. I actually admire the fact that she didn't sit around waiting for Charles and went off to marry a different guy who she actually loved at first. And as for the sexual relationship with Charles, yes I will admit that she was out of line. But at the same time, I think her husband was cheating on her too. So I'm assuming that in retaliation she cheated on him.

Nah… Sorry I’ve got to disagree with you here. Camilla was a “Lady of the world” and enjoyed having sexual relationships that were short and sweet. She clearly was not concerned with making a good marriage let alone a royal marriage, her past was one of the factors that prevented Charles from marrying her.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be all high and mighty about sexual conduct, I have no problem with a lady playing the field.

I understand that Andrew was having sex with other people but that hardly excuses Camilla’s behavior.

as much as I've been in Chelsy's corner all these years, I can't stand the thought of Harry marrying her. I am genuinely worried that he'll marry somebody else though and still consider Chelsy to be the love of his life, like it has been portrayed in the media. 'He'll never love another woman. She's the sexiest person ever, iho.' let's face it, the media makes up a lot of crap, but at times they report the truth. i just hope the reports of his love for chelsy isn't true.

I’m sorry… I don’t really understand.

I'm really sick of people saying how "normal" WIll and Kate are. I am even more annoyed with Will pushing this image. What exactly is normal? It probably means something completely different to Will than it means to others. I also don't understand his fascination with being normal, whatever that means. Do you think Diana had anything to do with Will's fascination with being normal, and do you think that Will's normal is what Diana meant? Sorry if this is kinda confusing.

I think I’ve said this before but I think William’s whole “I want to be normal” is basically him saying “I don’t want to face my royal duties, I want to live my life the way I want it and that doesn’t involve a lot of work.”

i don't think that the anon meant that chelsy or cressida would tarnish harry's image by being who they are. it would simply happen because of the media image, regardless of how wonderful they might be. harry needs to find a new, "fresh" wife that won't be dragged in the dirt because of on-off relationship like chelsy or this are they or aren't they like cressida. imo, however chelsy is the preferred choice of these two for her personality. but if they haven't worked in a decade, they never will

Yeah… I think Chelsy is a boat that has long since sailed and it’s probably for the best for both of them.

I find it so strange that Camilla hasnt told Charles that she gotten married. For one thing Normally many men often has phobia of getting married, think Charles has one when he is seeing Camilla? Both Charles and Camilla has long standing strange chemistry between them, and I often wish Diana has long shot view on Charles's life even marry or not. If it were Diana alive she wont let willyboy into the arm of Carole's manipulation.
