OK, just to be clear I do read Royal Dish from time to time for entertainment as I find some of their posts so ridiculous that I just have to laugh.

But this exchange on a thread about the history of William and Kate really p*ssed. A user called “SElizabeth” makes the point that it’s very difficult to know what a person’s feelings/motivations are when you don’t know that person in real life.

Another user makes the point if people can gush over William and Kate but not know them personally then why can’t people do opposite. Fair point and “SElizabeth” acknowledges that point and gives a thoughtful reply. 

Some users agree with this statement but others continue to talk about the likelihood of divorce. To Which “SElizabeth” responds too.

Again I think this is a perfectly thoughtful a reasonable response. But of course on the Royal Dish thoughtfulness and reasonable thinking is not welcome (unless it benefits their way of thinking.)

But this high and mighty post is what really pissed me off.

“Now that you have started let me inform you of how things work here….You are more than welcome to share your point of view but don’t ask or tell others what to talk about or what a kill joy they are”

Oh… My… GOD! I hate to tell you this but a large part of what makes a forum a forum is users responding to each other thoughts and posts. Also at the end of this comment the user basically said that the Middletons are gold diggers etc and that is how it works. No other opinion is welcomed here is the under lined point in this post.

It’s my own fault really. I should have known better than to read anything on royal dish.

I was reading some of your PCC posts and questions from readers, and I had a thought. The photos of naked Harry were taken in the United States, probably by an American who was invited to the suite, and sold first to TMZ, an American tabloid, that probably made a big difference in whether or not Harry and the RF could’ve sued, had Harry been so inclined. Our laws are a bit different than privacy laws in England when it comes to the royals and people in general. They’re not as strict. So, it’s basically beware to any royals or celebrities who travel to our shores.

Good point.. although Kate and William’s topless photos were not published in the USA. I think TMZ did a story on it but they used the censored version.

Uuurrrggghhh.  Uncle Gary.  I’m still angry his underaged girl pimping ass was at the wedding but the Duchess of York was “too scandalous” to invite.  Sarah is out of private family gatherings involving her former in-laws, which is harsh since her daughters can’t not attend, but I get it.  She divorced their son so why should she be invited to the in-law’s Christmas gathering?

But no one can convince me Prince Philip wouldn’t allow her to be invited to a major public family event such as her nephews wedding.  Sarah was at Diana’s funeral after all.  The DoE is really gonna not allow her at William’s wedding?  I doubt it.  Earl Spencer was there and he publicly criticised the royal family which, Sarah, so far as I can recall, never has.

If William wanted his aunt to be invited it would have happened.  He was striking all sorts of important people off the QUEEN’S proposed guest list and got away with it.  He could have put her on the list.

I lost a lot of respect for William over that.  If Harry pulls the same thing when he marries I’ll be so disappointed.

Yeah I don’t think it’s fair. But I think the reason why Sarah was not invited but Gary was because Gary didn’t do any direct harm to the royals, in reality he only damaged Kate’s public image not the Royals.

Sarah on the other hand very nearly put Prince Andrew in a very dangerous situation in that she was prepared to introduce Andrew to a man who had paid for access but who didn’t have a back ground/security check.

I have said in the past that Sarah was actually very lucky that the man who gave her the money was a reporter. God forbid it was an actual terrorist or some looney that happen to a large sum of money to offer,

This is part rant and apology because I know that my tumblr has been a no man’s land in terms of how little I actually post stuff. It’s just a freaking Q&A page!! GRR!!

Don’t get my wrong I love answering questions, in fact in a weird kinda way it has helped me in my college work. Having to think about how to phase the answer to a question so I am not taken the wrong way as really helped me in my essay writing.

But now that I am coming to the end of my second term of college things are starting to quite down and I can finally start enjoying my tumblr and hobby of royal watching!

One thing that I have wanted to do for the longest time is go back to my roots on youtube and start making videos again!

So I have decided to do a sequel to one of my most popular video “My top ten favorite Princess Diana Dresses” I am thinking of doing my top ten princess Diana day dresses. I have a top ten in mind but I can’t think of a nice song to play in the back ground. Can anyone think of one?

Also I’m thinking of doing a video solely on the Kate-Hate and Kate-Love phenom on tumblr. It would be in the style of my “Does the Queen dislike Kate Middleton” video. Also I think it’s about high time some one talks in detail about William’s lack of work and reluctance to step up to use duties.

Also the Easter holidays are coming up at the end of the month in which I will have two week off!! Yay!! So I will use that time to seriously clean up my tumblr as I have had so many thoughtful post that have become lost in the archives and I will also be uploading more programs to my voeh account for people to enjoy.

So just a little update to celebrate the fact I am no longer a slave to my college work! Yay!

One of the great things about tumblr is that it introduces you to loads of people and helps inform you about subjects you didn’t know about or had preconceived ideas about. No hard feelings, we all live and learn. xx

Oh she’s simply amazing. So amazing. Can’t believe she is pregnant and being able to manage all those holidays. Not to mention having to walk around and wave at people. She is simply sooo talented. And just who would begrudge her nan in law giving her a lovely country mansion. After all, she works sooo hard, and is soo talented. If only I could raise myself to her level of exertion. But alas, I know this is never going to be possible, for I am just a lowly serf, forever in her shadow of greatness. Now I really must get back to work, I’m sure Kate needs another holiday, and I best get working extra hard to ensure this next one is even better than the last. In fact, I’ll give up my holiday just so she can have, because she is soooo amazing.

I am almost finished writing an article that I have been working on for some time.

The reason behind this is not to criticize the royals but to try and give a reality check to many people who seem to think that marrying into the royal family is one great big amazing adventure The more I have followed the royals they more I have come to feel that given the opportunity I would never want to become one.

I hope that this article can create some discussion and make people think a little harder about what royalty is and how much you really have to give up if you marry a royal.
